Wixom, MI (PressExposure) April 06, 2011 -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Many businesses have been operating in survival mode through the economic roller coaster ride of the past few years. As signs of an improving economy begin to appear, these survivors are facing a radically different business environment.
"Business leaders know they have to find new clients and diversify their core business. What isn't so clear is how to achieve these objectives," according to Linda Skemp of Onset Marketing.
Skemp is one of the presenters participating in the sales and marketing workshop series, "Success Strategies for a New Economy." The primary objective of these workshops is to help small and medium businesses meet the challenges of today's market.
Kathryn Baker from AdviCoach of Michigan is a co-presenter at the workshops and explains businesses are facing a dual challenge. "Having the right tools is just one part of the equation. Businesses must change the way they do business to make the tools work."
Both parts of the equation are addressed in all three workshops:
Workshop #1 - Conducting a Strategic Market Assessment, Wed., April 20
Workshop #2 - Steps to Market Diversification, Wed. June 8
Workshop #3 - Developing a Comprehensive Marketing Plan, Wed., Aug 10
Each workshop is two hours long and structured for maximum efficiency. Participants can attend all three or sign-up up for the workshops that address their specific concerns.
"The content is targeted for executive leadership. These are the individuals who will determine the fate of their organizations," Skemp explained.
Baker added, "In many cases we are talking about a fundamental change in corporate culture. Executive leadership must be at the forefront if such change is to take place."
Baker is a business coach and trainer with 18 years experience in helping drive growth for industrial and retail businesses. Skemp has more than 17 years experience developing strategic integrated marketing programs for small and medium sized businesses.
The "Success Strategies for a New Economy" workshop series is being hosted by The Walsh Institute at Walsh College - Novi, located at 41500 Gardenbrook Road in Novi. For more information and to register: visit [http://www.thewalshinstitute.com/lchottopics]
