London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) May 02, 2012 -- Redstones is a property business originally established in 2000, but recently they have started to allow people to take up franchise agreements with them in order to see their business grow. While most businesses would struggle with this idea in these tough economic times, Redstones has thrived, as the lettings industry has bucked the trend and continues to be extremely profitable. They now boast a large list of franchisees all over the United Kingdom and expect this list to grow, as they are busier than they've ever been and are now one of the fastest-growing franchises that the country has to offer.
It would obviously be impossible to include figures for all of the franchises that Redstones offers in this piece - although they will happily provide them should you be interested in an opportunity - so it is best to take a look at just one. The Reading franchise has only been open for a year and already it is showing great growth, with business between October 2011 and March 2012 increasing massively. Landlord acquisitions - another way in which the success of the business can be measured - have also risen by a breathtaking 50% in this period, therefore showing that the lettings business is doing incredibly well. For the cynical readers out there, it is worth noting that this survey was carried out by NatWest/BFA, and not by Redstones themselves.
Figures aside, the most surprising information that this report from NatWest/BFA gives is in regards to the types of people now taking up opportunities in the lettings franchise sector. As other industries suffer, people from previous careers as diverse as the banking sector and the IT industry are moving into lettings, as are those looking to diversify their portfolio of business interests. This proves one thing without doubt: the lettings sector is thriving while most other areas of the British economy are struggling and therefore people are turning to it as a way to survive through this economic crisis.
One of these people is Mr Gurprit Johal, who took over the Reading franchise last year to such staggering effect. Now he states that he expects his earnings for this year to come in at over the £100,000 mark, which is more than he ever expected. Although the fact that he worked hard and has a good business brain is obviously important in this success, he states that the organisation that Redstones has and the support they give have been instrumental in his success. This is a sentiment no doubt echoed by franchisees throughout the country.
Starting either an offline or online franchise can be tough, but Redstones seems to have enabled people from all walks of life to fulfil this dream. If you are interested in working with Redstones, you can talk to them about their opportunities at one of the many open days they hold throughout the country.
