Los Angeles, CA (PressExposure) March 04, 2014 -- Gary Dawson, the son of "Family Feud" star Richard Dawson, has gone public on the crowd-funding site Kickstarter to launch a "Rock-umentary" series about an All "Little Person" Rock & Roll band known as "Little Rockers". Dawson & his partners plan to produce 3 or more episodes of the series, which they'll try to market for television following production. The band featured in the series consists of six little people, including the Ozzy Osbourne impoersonator, "Little Ozzy", who performed for Sharon Osboure on Season 7 of "America's Got Talent".
Two years ago, Dawson and his partners were introduced to this unique rock-band consisting of six incredibly talented musicians who all happened to be "little-people". At first glance, one might have assumed that this was just another little-person novelty act whose members lip-synced and pretended to play their instruments. However, when these guys --"The Little Rockers" --took the stage that night, everyone in attendance was absolutely blown away by their skill, their style and their presence!
Despite their size, when the music started, these guys were the biggest personalities in the room! And Dawson, along with his business partners Joel McGee, David Lyons and Andrew Bishop, instantly knew that this LITTLE band had what it takes to become the next BIG thing in Reality Television!
So, they decided to document this amazing band's journey as they travel from venue to venue, performing as any number of cover-bands like "Mini Van Halen", "Wee Wee Top" and "Small & Oats". Along the way, they're hoping to capture some great music as well as some truly dramatic, heart-felt and funny moments as these colorful characters work together to follow their dreams!
