New York City, New York (PressExposure) April 23, 2013 -- Robert Kuhn, President of New York-based sustainability consulting firm Kuhn Associates Sustainability Advisors, LLC, spoke to a group of graduate students in operations management and met with faculty at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business. It was Kuhn's first visit to the school. Kuhn made a formal presentation and answered questions from and offered ideas to students in the MBA program, all of whom showed a profound interest in incorporating sustainability into their careers. Mr. Kuhn told the students that sustainability was the way business would be run in years to come and presented a superb career opportunity for each and every one of them.
In commenting on his visit, Kuhn said, "It was a pleasure to visit Tepper and observe the passion and focus of the students. Clearly, these business-leaders-of-tomorrow understand the significant role that sustainability plays in today's business and how sustainability will be an essential attribute of successful businesses going forward."
Alan Scheller-Wolf, Ph.D., Professor of Operations Management and Head of the Ph.D. Program at Tepper, who sponsored Kuhn's visit, said "It was extremely valuable for our students to meet someone who is making a career in the sustainability space: to find out what Robert is working on now, where he sees sustainability going in the future, and also how Robert got to where he is today."
