Dubai, United Arab Emirates (PressExposure) August 15, 2010 -- Manufacture ROGER DUBUIS is proud to sponsor the catamaran TILT, for the first time, this sailing season. The TILT M2 catamaran, branded with ROGER DUBUIS sail and hull, made its first appearance during the Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2010 end of June at Lake Geneva.

Over 600 boats (which is 3.000 sailors) were at the starting line of the Bol d’Or, only 183 boats managed to finish in time (several boats gave up due to the weather conditions: minimum / no wind). TILT performed brilliantly, leading the race for a long time and overall finished 4th (came in second in the M2 class). After adding a 1 hour penalty for an early start, they still managed to rank 6th.

TEAM WITH IMPRESSIVE RESULTS With a final 3rd place in 2007 and a 1st place in 2008 of the Speed Tours /M2 Grand Prix, there are high expectations for 2010 season. The individual team members (crew exist out of 4 sailors: helmsmen, tactician / mainsheet trimmer, fore sail trimmer, nr1 fore deck) all have international sailing experience including Word Championships and Trans Atlantic races.

A MIND SHARED BY ROGER DUBUIS The relatively young M2 catamaran class was born and first in the water for competition in 2005. Today the M2’s do take an important position in the Lake’s sailing regattas.

RACES & TRAININGS After the Bol d’Or weekend, the team has shift its sight on the Grand Prix tour. At the Grand Prix de Morges 25-27 June, TILT finished 5th and are ranked 3rd overall. The team will race for the lake record later this year.

Next races in which TILT will compete are: Grand Prix de Saint-Prex: 28 29 August Grand Prix de Genève (Final of Speed Tour 2010): 18 19 September Lake Records attempts (Ruban Blue): Fall In addition, the team is training on a regular base on the Lake of Geneva. ROGER DUBUIS will use some of these training days for a ‘meet, great & experience’ for an exclusive selection of VIP clients. -END-
