Redondo Beach, Ca. (PressExposure) November 04, 2008 -- Step aside Jules Verne, Seafaring360 is launching the latest and greatest world adventure. Itâs dubbed an âAdventure â on a Global Scaleâ. Imagine owning part of a luxurious sailing yacht that is on a presubscribed four year sailing venture around the world. The yacht visits popular sailing and cruising destinations throughout the Caribbean, Tahiti, New Zealand, the Great Barrier Reef, Fiji, Seychelles and the Mediterranean during its circumnavigation. At whim, Owners can fly in and use their yacht, which is operated and maintained by a full time professional captain. The owners have the choice of making ocean crossings, adventuring and exploring the local coastline or just using the boat as a floating condo in any of the exciting destinations.
The yacht is shared amongst 6 owners, allowing each owner access to 8 or more weeks for personal use per year. Owners can bring friends, family with them and none need to be fully experienced at sailing because the captain will take care of the technical details of sailing the yacht., However, if they desire, Owners will naturally gain world class sailing experience. The experienced captainâs concierge maintenance secures your investment removing all trepidation in sharing your yacht.
Sharing the yacht has its advantages. The greatest of which is the cost. The $1.05 Million Beneteau 57 ft yacht only costs only $179,000 per one sixth share. At the end of the 4 year adventure, the boat is sold and the proceeds go back to the owners, making this global adventure affordable for many people.
The program is headed up by two experienced professionals: Bob Bitchin of Latitudes and Attitudes Magazine and Grant Headifen of Nautic7 Global Resources. Bitchin has cruised over 100,000 miles globally and his magazine is devoted to just that, informing people about the wonders of the sailing and cruising lifestyle. Headifen is himself an accomplished sailor and is widely attributed in the sailing world as founding the fractional ownership movement for sailboats. He developed the program for Beneteau Fractional Yachting through which the Beneteau 57 for Seafaring360 is supplied and he operates an internet sailing training company, Nauticed.org.
The first Seafaring360 Beneteau 57 will launch in France in June 2008. It will serve its owners by visiting Corsica, Sardinia, the Balearics and the southeastern shores of Spain before heading out to the Canary Islands in November readying for the world renowned ARC race to St. Lucia in the Caribbean. After that ⦠its off - around the world.
