Carlsbad, CA (PressExposure) May 21, 2009 -- Seasonal allergy symptoms can be hard to hide. Morefocus group, inc. in Carlsbad, CA, is inviting people to show them off instead. Allergy sufferers are asked to submit a video of themselves explaining why their allergy symptoms are the worst of them all. The person who submits the best video is eligible for a cash prize that's nothing to sneeze at.
"Allergies have typically been a source of frustration for those that have to live with them," said Dr. Reegan Carey, CIDO at morefocus. "This contest facilitates people sharing their challenges and triumphs over allergies, many of which can be found at Learn-About-Allergies.com ( http://learn-about-allergies.com )."
The contest is a part of morefocus's ongoing efforts to provide timely, accurate health information to consumers at http://www.morefocus.com . Articles, blogs and wikis provide information on symptoms, causes and suggested remedies for seasonal and year‐round allergy sufferers.
"There is no cure for allergies, but a fun video contest that connects allergy sufferers in unique and unexpected ways can serve as a resource for everyone. You don't have to participate to get helpful information about allergies, but we certainly encourage you to," said Matt Browne, CMO of morefocus.
Allergy sufferers can capture a great sneeze, tell an embarrassing story, act out an allergy-symptom-packed day or find many other creative ways to prove they have the worst allergy symptoms. Fellow participants will vote on the best video submission, and the video with the most votes at the end of the contest will win $200.
To enter, go to [http://contest.allergybloggers.com] and follow the instructions on the site. Videos must be submitted by June, 12, 2009, in order to be eligible for consideration.
