Mumbai, Maharashtra India (PressExposure) June 10, 2011 -- Vetro, the contemporary Italian restaurant, presents a new Seasonal Lunch menu to celebrate the beginning of a refreshing season, with bountiful flavours crafted by Italian expert Chef Vincenzo di Tuoro, at The Oberoi, Mumbai. Priced at Rs. 1,500 (all inclusive) the seasonal lunch offers a selection of anti pasti, simmering soups, a variety of home-made pastas, and desserts, with new specialties every day.
Guests may begin with a hearty Sautéed prawn soup with orange sauce, mashed potatoes and capers; part of the Chef's special soup of the day menus, followed by a selection at the anti pasti table, which includes an assortment of the finest charcuterie and cheeses; salads; and other light and healthy options, which can in themselves make an entire meal for the calorie-conscious. The primi piatti offers a varied selection ofhome-made pastas such as Lasagna Primavera; Cavatelli with broccoli; or Buccatini alla Bolognese; and the freshly baked tart of the day and other desserts such as Amaretti crème brûlée; Chocolate pavé with goat cheese ice cream; and signature specialties including Tiramisu and Panna cotta, provide the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Freshly-brewed tea and coffee are also on offer.
Guests can experience the culinary specialties of Italy with Chef Enzo, as he pairs the choicest of seasonal ingredients to craft a new seasonal lunch special every day.
The Vetro Seasonal Lunch specials are available for lunch only from 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. at Rs. 1500, all inclusive.
