Shoebooks Clients Can Now Be Resellers Too

Hawthorn, Victoria Australia (PressExposure) April 28, 2011 -- Shoebooks has helped numerous businesses in various ways through its online bookkeeping and accounting system. Through their accounting and bookkeeping software packages, business owners, bookkeepers, and accountants can still keep track of the company's activities from any geographical location without having to sacrifice too much of their own personal time. With Shoebooks, business can be done anywhere without the risk of not being able to monitor the business.

However, Shoebooks offers more. Clients can also be resellers of Shoebooks bookkeeping software packages. It follows the business model where you may resell bookkeeping and accounting solutions to other businesses or individuals. Reselling the accounting software provides the benefit of an ongoing revenue stream. In addition to that, the reseller has the ability to rebrand the solution, add on to an existing product like a shopping cart or CRM system.

In this scheme, the reseller can choose to either be a partner or an associate.

The associate license allows the reseller to re-brand of the accounting software and utilize their own brand name and existing marketing channels. Furthermore, this license gives the reseller full access to Shoebooks reseller's toolkit.

Using this license, Shoebooks bills the client-reseller and, in turn, the reseller is the one who bills their clients.

There are two difference associate licenses available. The first is the white label license and the second is the rebranded login.

The white label login still uses the Shoebooks web address but the user is presented with a white label login where no branding can be seen. Once the user completes the login the associate's colors, logos, and company name are displayed in the accounting software.

There is a once of set up fee of $500 for the white label login.

The rebranded login, on the other hand, uses the associate's domain of choice for the initial login screen. There is no mention of the name Shoebooks anywhere since the logo, company name and colors of the reseller are displayed on the screen. An SSL certificate and an IP address are provided by Shoebooks. The set up fee is $1000 and another $300 is required annually for the maintenance of the SSL certificate and the IP address.

If you want to partner with Shoebooks instead of being an associate, the partner license is available and is offered free of charge. The partner license allows the partner to sell the software and receive a share on any software subscription sales.

A Partner License also gives the reseller full access to the reseller's toolkit. Furthermore, the partner has the right to re-margin the accounting software for any price they like. The partner receives a incremental commission of software sales based upon the number of subscriptions they have.

The partner is billed by Shoebooks and the partner is responsible for billing of their clients. Shoebooks can assist in this process.

Whether you want to be a partner or an associate, this is a great business opportunity for everybody and Shoebooks continues to help businesses grow.
