With a unique integration of a set of tweezers acting as the probes, a small LCD screen, and a highly accurate LCR-meter designed specifically for Surface Mount Technology, Smart Tweezers make short work of testing and debugging PCBs, component sorting, in-circuit and on-board impedance testing. Smart Tweezers also determines the secondary parameters while measuring, such as the ESR of a capacitor.
A unique, patented mechatronic design allows Smart Tweezers to have very low and well defined parasitics. These parasitics are easily removed using the semi-automatic offset subtraction feature. With the parasitics removed, the device can measure as low as a fraction of microhenry for Inductance, and 1 milliohm and 1 picofarad for Resistance and Capacitance measurements.
