Their release this October comes just in time for the Thanksgiving season, a time when delicious, well-planned meals are on just about everyone's mind.
"We're excited to add this product to our chef product division," says Lee Williamson, the founder of the SFSC. "The smokiness of the products adds a tremendous rich flavor to just about any kind of cuisine. Smoked sea products is much more versatile than one would think," adds Williamson. "It's great on all kinds of meat, vegetables and starches. It even adds a unique flavor to desserts like ice cream, caramels, chocolate and more. The possibilities are limitless."
Smoked products can be quite expensive elsewhere, but SFSC sell their bulk smoked products at a lower cost than many of their wholesale competitors. These product offered by the SFSC is premium that is smoked over a real wood-burning fire. SFSC uses a traditional, but streamlined and very efficient process to reduce costs and pass the savings onto the customer. "A lot of companies just add a cheap liquid smoke flavor to their food products to keep costs down, but quality and taste is too important for us to go that route," explains Williamson.
Why smoked sea salts? "Well, our customers asked for it. Over the last 12 months we have been continually reaching out to our customers via social media to find out what they really want, rather than assuming we know what they want. This grass roots feedback has allowed us to become a much better brand, more organized, and better at keeping our customers happy," says Williamson. As well as their new line of smoked sea bath products this month, SFSC have also announced they will be extending free shipping through the end of the year.
In addition to their new Smoked Cherrywood and Smoked Alderwood, SFSC's selection includes Himalayan, French Grey, Fleur de Sel, Hawaiian and many more gourmet to suite any palate.
