Manchester, United Kingdom (PressExposure) April 15, 2009 -- There is a saying that goes: Never turn your hobby into a business. I disagree with this statement when it comes to soap making. If you start a soap business it will probably turn into a hobby.
The most relaxing thing is that the craft industry is relaxed, there arn't many people rushing around trying to get everything done on time or to tight deadlines, time justs drifts along. When you have a soap business you will see this comming true, your ingredients arive and are put in the garage, you make a few hundred bars during the week which doesn't take great effort or time. When saturday comes you drive to the local craft fare and set up your stall. A few hours later you drive home having pocketed hundreds in profit from your soap.
This for me seems like a hobby rather than a business but when done right it will make you a substantial income.
I have started a site: soap making expert .com to help people learn about soap making and starting a soap making business. Come and visit, i have a blog and all the information is free for you to use. I have also reviewed the top 3 soap making guides for you.
