Sony Committed To Target Of 15 Million PlayStation 3 Sales By March 2012

Fuengirola, Espana (PressExposure) March 02, 2012 -- Sony's target is slightly ahead of its target for sales of the PlayStation 3 in 2011, and they remain committed to its target of 15 million PS3 sales during the financial year to the end of March 2012, it was reported by Sony Computer Entertainment that as of 2nd November 2011 Sony had sold 56 million PlayStation 3 units since launch.

With the launch of PlayStation Vita in February 2012 in Europe and the US it is difficult to predict sales; it very much depends on currency rates. The Japanese company has suffered as a result of the Yen's rise against the Euro.

The software and hardware charts still show that Sony's PlayStation 3 is still up there at the top, in the software charts PS3 holds number one position with 'Twisted Metal', and in 3rd place with 'UFC Undisputed 3', 4th with 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3', and 8th with 'Final Fantasy XIII-2', also the new PlayStation Vita enters the software charts in position nine with 'Little Deviants', the top ten are ranked by number of units sold.

Sony are also holding their own in the weekly hardware chart as of 18th February 2012, with PlayStation 3 in second position, and PlayStation Vita in 4th Position, this has been ranked by number of units sold worldwide.

The proud owners of the PlayStation 3 can be confident they have the best, and with its technological abilities it has proved it is the most popular game console worldwide. Is it any wonder when you have a mean machine with realistic graphics and sound, a CPU that can operate at 3.2 GHz and an integrated memory of 512 MB or RAM, you will get the gaming experience that you will not find in another game console.

With its Blu-Ray capabilities can hold large quantities of high definition video and audio, photos, data and other digital content, not forgetting that games of old PlayStation versions are playable on the latest PlayStation 3.

The troubles of Sony at the beginning of 2011 are now 'water under the bridge' and gamers are glad that they stuck with them. Sony has made sure they stay at the top of their game and always one step ahead of their competitors.

Any piece of sophisticated technological equipment shows up faults at some point and PlayStation 3 is no different, with much reported and written about this consoles flaws, such as the YLOD (yellow light of death), sometimes freezing, or maybe not reading discs, but no problem is insurmountable the best option open to any gamer is take or send the console to a reputable PlayStation 3 repair service.

A spokesman for PS Pros located in London said "we are the answer to your prayers we offer a same day PlayStation 3 repair service, you will not find many outlets that offer this, you can bring your console in and we repair it while you wait, of course if you are not local to London then we offer a postal service and your PS3 repair is still done the same day of receipt.
