Portsmouth, NH (PressExposure) July 20, 2009 -- There are a lot of things you can do from home with the help of your computer: work, shop, even talk with friends. Now, thanks to a new service from Revolutionary Media Services, your computer can also aid in speech therapy.
SpeechEmail is a new, low-cost service, which allows those in speech or language therapy to complete at-home exercises which can be emailed and evaluated by their clinician. This time-saving technique allows the therapist to help more patients without increasing office hours, by reviewing a portion of their clients exercises via email.
"The goal of SpeechEmail," says Jay Bancroft, Founder of Revolutionary Media Services, "is to allow these professionals to help more patients, and better manage their work load."
Therapists are not the only ones benefiting from this service. By being able to complete exercises at home, a client does not need to physically go to the therapist's office as often. For those who live in rural areas, rely on others for transportation, or need to take time off of work for appointments, this benefit is of great value.
"The feedback from therapists and clients already using the service has been really positive," says Bancroft. "Those that took part in the Product Review saw the benefits immediately, and are making it a regular part of their practices."
Revolutionary Media Services is current interested in having a few more reviews done of the SpeechEmail program, if you are interested in providing feedback please send an email to Mr. Jay Bancroft below. Include your full name and title, company information, and contact phone #.
