Start Up Donut Hits the Spot with Info Hungry Entrepreneurs

London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) July 31, 2009 -- There is no shortage of information about starting a business online, but finding credible information is another matter entirely. Start Up Donut is a new site that offers free resources to entrepreneurs about all aspects of launching and running a new business.

“Starting any kind of business is a big challenge, and there is a lot to get your head around. Start Up Donut is a place where people can come to get good quality, big picture information, as well as specific advice and guidance from people who are experts in their field,” says Mark Williams of BHP Information Solutions which owns and operates the site.

Start Up Donut is packed with information from experts in a range of areas, including successful entrepreneurs as well as business advisers in areas such as the law, accounting and HR.

As well as providing information and resources, Start Up Donut includes a forum where business people can ask for free advice and connect with small business advisors and other services.

Mark says initial feedback suggests Start Up Donut is providing a service that is in high demand.

“It’s early days, but people are telling us that this is what they’ve been missing. Having all the information in one place is great, but they also appreciate the practical tone of all the content and the fact it’s credible information.”

Start Up Donut is the second Donut initiative from BHP Information Solutions. The first, Marketing Donut, a free online resource centre for UK small business that’s backed by Google and Royal Mail, was launched earlier this year, and has developed a strong following among small business owners and managers who like its practical, hands-on approach.
