Stories for Children Magazine is proud to be a contestant in the second annual 2009 StartupNation Home-Based 100 Business competition. See details at: [http://www.startupnation.com/homebased100/contestant/6615/index.php].

Stories for Children was founded by VS Grenier two years after the birth of her daughter when she quit her day job to stay home and raise a family. But Grenier isn’t the only staff member at Stories for Children Magazine. Every SFC Team member works from home throughout the United States and Canada. Stories for Children Magazine is more than just a magazine and newsletter for writers. We're a family and a community committed to excellence in our work ethic, in the products and services we provide, and in our relationships with our readers, contributors, freelancers, featured guests, and advertisers.

We strive to be fair, honest, committed, and give warm fuzzies while supporting those we work with through contests and cross promotion.

With an award-winning Ezine and free monthly SFC Newsletter for Writers, voted one of the 101 Best Websites for Writers by Writer's Digest 2009, Stories for Children hopes to share the love, enjoyment, and excitement of reading. We aim to help new writers learn how to write quality stories and articles so our readers will never want for good material.

Come take an adventure in the World of Ink with Stories for Children Magazine – http://storiesforchildrenmagazine.org, a monthly Ezine for children 3 to 12 years old and SFC Newsletter for Writers [http://vsgrenier.com/newsletter.aspx], a monthly PDF newsletter sent via email.

We hope you’ll vote for us. If you are so inclined, please vote once a day. Voting ends September 30, 2009. StartupNation will rank the top 100 Home-Based businesses across America as determined by popular vote.

Winners will be announced mid-November 2009.
