Las Vegas, Nevada (PressExposure) May 20, 2009 -- Moonlight Mesa Associates is honored to announce that the company will be publishing the works of Stoney Greywolf Bowers.
"We hope to have Stoney's first book out by fall. Stoney attends a lot of cowboy poetry reading gatherings, and his book will be a perfect compliment to his performances," said publisher Becky Coffield.
"Stoney is a remarkable man. I can think of no other person who so richly deserves the opportunity to have his work preserved for generations to come. I am deeply honored to be able to help him accomplish that," Coffield said. "We will begin working in earnest on this publication in June. His first volume, Reflections from the Wilderness, will be issued as a trade paperback. Other editions and later books may be issued in hard cover."
The cover will most likely be designed by Stoney who will work in conjunction with Moonlight Mesa's cover designer, Vin Libassi.
Jere D. James, new western romance author, recently signed a three book deal with Moonlight Mesa also. James' first title, "Saving Tom Black," will be issued in late 2009. This is the first book in the Jake Silver Adventure series.
"James' book is fresh," said Coffield. "It is funny, touching and loaded with action. The humor in the book is what drew me to this project. The novel has heart and the characters are so real the reader feels that he knows them. There are many humorous chapters, and the subject itself is very unique and unusual. This book will do very well. I'm only fearful it will be snapped up by a major house."
"Saving Tom Black" cover designer is Vin Libassi; editor is Paula Silici.
