Brentwood, Tennessee (PressExposure) April 23, 2009 -- Guy Brown operated as a sort-of incubator for Swiftwick, providing office space and resources while the company grew. Starting in cycling, sales in Tennessee have grown in hockey and running as a relationship with the Predators developed to promote the youth hockey and products were exposed to serious runners in a partnership with the Nashville Striders. A new nationwide marketing campaign using social networking and search engine positioning has helped the company quickly outgrow its share of space inside Guy Brown.
âThereâs never a good time to move when youâre growing as fast as Swiftwick, but space to a business is like breathing to an athlete,â said Mark Cleveland, CEO of Swiftwick International, LLC. âOur new location allows us the room to hire and gather together performance oriented people, to create and feel the energy we use to support great retailers and to constantly improve the product.â One example of Swiftwickâs initiative to tap people from the world of athletics to promote its products is its recent hiring of Marcus Wilson, a captain on the Vanderbilt football team who graduated in 1992. Wilsonâs job is to introduce Swiftwick products to high school and college sports teams.
The companyâs new office is located at 101 West Park Street, Suite 120, in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Swiftwick compression socks are favored by many serious outdoor enthusiasts and professional athletes like endurance cyclist Nat Ross and athletic trainers like Stephen Taylor in Nashville. Constructed of top quality materials that wick sweat away from feet, Swiftwick socks keep you dry and they apply the perfect amount of compression to help improve circulation.
Swiftwick recently produced a limited edition âPred Headâ sock that quickly sold out and is producing a second custom edition of the âCustom Striderâ â in club colors â a unique, custom product sold exclusively at http://www.swiftwick.com and available at Nashville Striderâs partner retail locations: Fleet Feet Brentwood, Team Nashville, Athleteâs House and ACME MulitSports.
âIâve been tracking Swiftwick since the day they introduced their impressive running socks,â said Peter Pressman, the President of Nashville Striders, âitâs exciting to see this kind of rapid growth with a cool local company like Swiftwick that is so active in helping expand participation in athletics for fitness and fun.â
