London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) February 28, 2013 -- Crowdfunding success Swogo.com, a free online service that helps anyone make tech buying decisions like an expert in 60 seconds, won a place in leading European accelerator and TechStars affiliate, Startupbootcamp. They were the youngest team to secure a place in the final nine, beating out almost 500 eager startups.
Startupbootcamp will give Swogo the chance to be mentored by a global network of business a-listers and companies such as Microsoft and Vodafone - ideal for their expansion into the US. Lucy Foster, co-founder of Swogo, said: "In just two days we feel as if we've gained so much business insight and made some incredible connections. We want to use this program in order to really accelerate our business and see Swogo gain traction quickly and cost-effectively."
Swogo launched in the UK on December 10th 2012 as a free-to-use recommendation service for laptops. They also won the 2012 NACUE Varsity Pitch Competition, beating out 100 graduate and student entrepreneurs in order to claim the £10,000 prize.

More people are shopping online than ever, but choosing the right product still isn't easy. Even buyers with expert knowledge struggle to keep up with the rapid movement of electronics. Swogo found that it takes the average person three weeks to choose a laptop. They bring this down to just 60 seconds.
"We wanted to make the whole experience painless," said Anthony Ng Monica, CEO.
