London, United Kingdom (PressExposure) July 31, 2012 -- TELS Group of Companies, a large European freight forwarder, is carrying out its program for enhancing in-house transportation resources. For the 4th time since the early 2012 the Motor Transport Department at TELS purchases new trucks for the company's in-house truck fleet. This time it's 5 couplings of MAN TGX 18.400 truck tractors and Koegel SN24 tilt semitrailers with the load capacity of 92 m3. Each of the trucks meets EURO 5 ecological standards.
Unlike other freight forwarders on the international market, TELS is not only an intermediate between clients and contractors, but a full-cycle integrated transportation company with its own transportation means. Currently the company's in-house truck fleet is comprised of 68 heavy-load trucks and 4 low-tonnage trucks that all are strictly monitored to meet EURO 4 and EURO 5 requirements, equipped with satellite navigation systems and extra fastening to provide advanced safety of transported goods.
The company's truck fleet is widely used in warehousing and for road transportation of groupage cargo, with destinations all across Europe. TELS has developed an extensive warehouse network with numerous agreements between the company and European consolidation warehouses (Forst, Germany is the latest agreement).
It is the fourth time when the company replenishes its truck fleet. Prior to this recent purchase the company has already bought 11 heavy-load and low-tonnage vehicles. "It's the most appropriate way to meet our customer's requirements", - admits the representative of the company's Motor Transport Department. "The more in-house vehicles we have, the higher quality of our services we can deliver".
