Toronto, Canada (PressExposure) February 29, 2012 -- GAO Embedded ( [http://www.GAOEmbedded.com] ) is offering its TI DSP evaluation board with a 32-bit fixed-point Flash DSP operating at 150 MHz. This module forms a complete digital servo motion control system by interfacing with one or two L/HVD (Low/High Voltage Driver) boards to drive one or two motors. It is an ideal tool for applications such as scientific research and product development.
This TI DSP evaluation board, model A0M10002, uses a custom designed power supply with reference voltage to provide superior accuracy of A/D sampling. It provides on-board VL-Bus data/address/control lead-out wires and special function pins with lead-out wires. It offers standard RS232, CAN communication interfaces for data exchange. An onboard IEEE1149 JTAG interface is also provided for real-time emulation. The TI DSP evaluation board features flash program memory, onboard and extendable SRAM and extendable EEPROM. Source code for testing CCS, PWM, ADC, SPI, SCI, CAN communication, FFT, DC brush/brushless motors and AC motor SPWM and SVPWM is also available.
This TI DSP evaluation board belongs to GAO's family of TI DSP Evaluation Board. The line includes two similar products: 2812EVM-I TI DSP Evaluation Board and 2812EVM-II Evaluation Board which is an upgrade of its 2812EVM-I. They are specially optimized for motor driving and control systems based on MS320F2812 series DSPs. The line also includes DEC6713 Evaluation Board which is based on TMS320C6713B DSP: 32 Bit floating point DSP operating at 200 MHz (Max. upto 300 MHz), 1600 MIPS (Max. upto 2400 MIPS) and IB2812 Interface Board which is a sub-board for the extended keyboard and display panel.
