Cambridge, United Kingdom (PressExposure) September 29, 2008 -- University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) will celebrate the exceptional exam results of high-achieving Kenyan students at the Brilliance in Kenya awards ceremony at the Sarova Panafric Hotel in Nairobi on Monday 29 September.
Five Kenyan students have been ranked Top in the World for their performance in a single subject at Cambridge IGCSE, International AS Level or International A Level in the June 2008 examination session. The winning students out-performed candidates worldwide in Cambridge IGCSEs English as a Second Language and Additional Mathematics; International AS Level Literature in English; and International A Levels Geography and Psychology.
A further 44 awards will be presented to students who have been ranked Top in Kenya for their exam performance in a single subject, representing over a dozen schools.
The awards will be presented by the Kenya Acting British High Commissioner, Louise de Sousa, and students will also be congratulated at the ceremony by CIE Representative Anne Crowson.

The Cambridge qualifications achieved by Kenyan students will provide them with a solid foundation for success in their future studies and careers.
