Plymouth, Devon United Kingdom (PressExposure) May 24, 2014 -- Today, a UK limited company "Task Force Distribution" announced the arrival of new high-spec, military grade boots that are to go on sale to the UK retailers by the end of the May 2014.
The new military grade brown boots are manufactured in Europe by a company called LOWA who have been making boots since1923.
Task Force have already successfully imported and distributed the LOWA military collection of black boots into the UK retail market, but with the move by the MoD to provide "next generation" BROWN boots to all UK military personnel, Task Force have stepped up their game.
The announcement came after LOWA agreed to provide their military black boots in the new MoD brown colour to be in-keeping with the new UK military standard.
Several models of their most popular ranges are already available in the military brown colour with the rest due for sale to the UK market by late May early June, 2014. Task Force officials say this move is expected to improve investor confidence and set a new UK standard for military footwear which has fallen in recent years.
Task Force Distribution was formed in the first quarter of 2012 after buying the import rights from Aaron Distribution Ltd, which came after a shareholders meeting in late 2011. Since then Task Force have more than doubled the range of military boots and have recently started to provide LOWA safety boots to the UK market.
More information is expected in the second quarter of 2014 with rumours of new premises being built to house the new brown military boots, currently they are stocked in a secure holding company until dispatch. This is a sign of things to come later this year and going forward into 2015 with the UK military increasing their standards of equipment in-line with the UK retail market, which is the first choice for military gear amongst serving personnel.
