Apple unveiled a third-generation iPad recently, enhanced with features aimed at keeping it safely on the throne of the booming tablet computer market. The new iPad's alluring screen quality provides the main attraction. A higher-resolution screen called "Retina Display" makes everything - from vacation pictures to the text on a website - look crisper. By Apple's calculations, the new iPad offers four times the resolution of its predecessor. Apple also unveiled a new version of Apple TV. The device features high-definition video, has a simpler, icon-based interface that Apple says makes it easier to use than ever before. Like its forerunner, the new Apple TV will incorporate AirPlay, a mechanism that allows for wireless streaming from an iPhone, iPad or iTouch to Apple TV.
This week Tech Guru will also review the latest smartphone in the Nokia series - the Nokia 808 Pureview, a 41-megapixel camera fitted into the body of a smartphone. The incredible tech was nearly 5 years in development. The camera on the Nokia 808 also comes with a xenon flash which is much brighter than the standard LED flash.
