Kolkata, West Bengal India (PressExposure) September 24, 2014 -- In a press conference organized yesterday, Teknowledge Software sent out hearty season's greetings to all its Indian clients. It's the start of the festive season in the sub-continent, and the company has wished everyone the very best on the occasion.
Speaking on behalf of the mobile app company, CEO Hussain Fakhruddin said that the glitzy, lively manner in which Kolkata (where the company's main office is located) decks up on the days of Durga Puja and the festivals that closely follow never ceases to amaze him. He had a smile in his voice as he opined that this was the time the city truly transformed into the 'City of Joy'. Witnessing the festivities in Bengal is a lifetime experience, Mr. Fakhruddin felt.
Much in the lines of New Year Resolutions, Teknowledge took a couple of new pledges during the well-attended media event. Firstly, the executives vowed to get even better at providing high-end cross-platform mobile app development services, to Indian and foreign clients. Also, Mr. Fakhruddin chalked out how his company plans to get into more real-time interactions with the public (for app opinions, feedback, additional suggestions, etc.). Teks has always been a people-oriented company, and it is likely to become even more so in future.
The mood remained jovial right through the two-hour event, as most app developers and graphic designers of the company shared personal anecdotes during the previous years' festive seasons. There was a wonderful surprise waiting for kids too - with the sister concern of Teknowledge, Story Time Publications, having organized a 'Sit-and-Draw' and an Origami competition. A couple of jokes did the rounds as well. Everyone had a smile on his/her face - as it should be at the start of the season of celebrations and prosperity.
Amidst all the fun and enjoyment, Mr. Fakhruddin did take time out to remind the audience that Teknowledge was not going on a lengthy break during the festive season. The office would remain closed on only 3 days (2, 3 and 4 October) - and operations would proceed normally on all the preceding days of the Pujas, and on the other festival days (Id, Laxmi Puja, Kali Puja, Diwali and Christmas are coming up in close succession). Even on the three off-days, representatives from the Android/iPhone application development agency can be contacted via email. In case any client wished to get free app quotes on those days - there won't be a problem.
The company also took this opportunity to showcase some of the new iPhone applications it is working on. The one that generated maximum applause was Heart Charts - an innovative relationship health-checker. Previews of apps like Tendish, Sting, and an exclusive Citibank application was also provided during the event.
Before drawing the program to a close, Mr. Fakhruddin sent along his heartfelt good wishes to all NRIs, as well as all the clients of Teknowledge from overseas. Considering that nearly 35% of the total clientele of the mobile app company hails from foreign countries, this was definitely a nice touch. There were also hints that Teknowledge would soon start working on a West Bengal tourism app - to aid foreigners who wished to visit the land of culture, mystique and festivities.
At present, the in-house developers at Teknowledge are busy with checking out the nitty-gritty of iOS 8, and learning the Swift programming language. It can be fairly expected that the company would take its efficiency levels a couple of notches higher, once the festive season is over.
