Augusta , Georgia (PressExposure) November 04, 2009 -- Lace up your tennis shoes, bring a friend, and come support Childrenâs Leukemia Foundation of Michigan on Saturday, September 26, 2009, as supporters walk a scenic three-mile route for a cure. Registration will start at 8 a.m. and âThe Walkâ will begin at 10 a.m.
âThe Walkâ will take place through Petoskeyâs historic Bay View Resort Community. Childrenâs Leukemia Foundation of Michigan is currently servicing over 200 patients in Northern Michigan. All money raised at âThe Walkâ will stay in Northern Michigan. âThe Walkâ will include food, refreshments and entertainment. Those who plan to take part in âThe Walkâ may also register online at http://www.leukemiamichigan.org. There is $20 registration fee to participate in âThe Walk.â Each participant who raises $100 will receive a 2009 âThe Walkâ T-shirt. The $20 registration fee will go towards the $100 required to receive âThe Walkâ T-shirt.
The Children's Leukemia Foundation is proud to announce they are working with By Design Marketing; based in northern Michigan, to plan The Walk at Petoskey. By Design is a marketing and event planning company established by Elizabeth Mrozinski and Sarah Withey. Elizabeth and Sarah have been working locally in a number of different marketing and event planning capacities. This has been an exciting year for both women with the launch of their business By Design and the arrival their sons Chase and Cohen this fall.
