Oakland, CA (PressExposure) October 04, 2010 -- Today, AfroDaddy.com - The Black Man Survival Guide website announces the opening of the AfroStore, a place for black vendors to showcase their books as well as sell their products and services. "There are many black-owned businesses that have great products that are not getting the exposure they deserve" says Jordan Guy, writer at AfroDadddy.com. "At AfroDaddy we are determined to do everything we can to showcase these companies and help boost their sales and profits."
Companies that currently sell products online can now list a subset of their products at a dedicated storefront on AfroDaddy.com. For small businesses that work from home, only have a storefront, or don't have a website presence this is a great opportunity for them to now gain access to more potential customers on the web. The goal of AfroDaddy is to have 10 storefronts open for business by year end.
A big part of the AfroStore is the Bookstore where African American authors can showcase their literary talents. Built in conjunction with Amazon.com, with the AfroStore black authors now have a place to showcase their books and not have them buried within the millions of other books found on generic book seller websites. "More focused attention is required if you want to sell your books" says Granvel Johnson, author of "Notes to Our Sons for the Journey from Childhood to Manhood". The AfroStore allows my book to get great exposure by being listed among hundreds of books instead of millions."
AfroDaddy is a fast growing site and we anticipate more readership as we continue to put out relevant content that helps black men save money, succeed and prosper. We will always keep our content focused on: educating people on basic urban survival skills; how to avoid financial, relationship and/or financial difficulty; and where to find those hidden keys that lead people to success. With the addition of the AfroStore we want to help facilitate the circulation and recycling of money within the black community so we can watch our community grow and flourish.
