Irving, TX (PressExposure) December 05, 2008 -- After years of teaching as Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the NYU School of Medicine and being part of a successful group private practice in New York, Dr. Hugh Randall decided it was time for a change in his career. An alumnus and former faculty member of Emery University in Georgia, He was interested in getting back to the green hills of the Southeast where much of his family lives.
While looking for opportunities in the region, Dr. Randall obtained procurement from The Carlisle Group and was impressed with the way TCG presented their opportunities and the easy accessibility of their website. âI spoke to a lot of different people from other recruiting companies, but it was TCGâs opportunities that piqued my interest,â he said. Soon after he submitted his CV, Dr. Randall was immediately received a call from TCG Search Manager John Collmer, and the two connected instantly.
The two got down to the specifics of what Dr. Randall was looking for in an opportunity. Collmer then took into account Dr. Randallâs search parameters and described an opportunity for an OB/GYN of his expertise in Crossville, Tennessee. Crossville, with a population of over 10,000 is home to Cumberland Medical Center, the primary care center for over 70,000 in the surrounding area. CMC engaged The Carlisle Groupâs physician recruitment services and Collmer had conducted an on-site visit of the facility to get a better understanding of both it and the community.
âThe way John presented the opportunity was appropriate and he clearly understood his clientâs expectations. He asked the right questions to be sure it was a suitable fit,â said Dr. Randall. Meanwhile, Collmer coordinated between Dr. Randall and Cumberland Medical Center, organizing a time when they can both get together for an interview. In the end, the experience was a success for both the client and provider.
âThe Carlisle Group provided me with the most productive interview Iâve ever had,â exclaimed Dr. Barry Wagner, CMO at Cumberland Medical Center. He was impressed at the lengths TCG took to accurately portray their clientsâ respective opportunities. â(Dr. Randall) was motivated and as well-informed as you could ask for.â
Dr. Randall was just as impressed with The Carlisle Groupâs service. âJohn was just persistent enough to keep me up to date without being too annoying,â he said jokingly. âHe helped me stay on track. With some companies, itâs almost if they donât have time for you. It really felt like John made my placement a priority.â
