Irving, TX (PressExposure) March 09, 2009 -- The Carlisle Group is pleased to announce the addition of industry veteran Bill Lentz as Vice President of Corporate Development to its growing team of physician recruiting professionals. He brings with him the experience combined with a passion for the industry that will continue to propel TCG to heights never before seen in the world of physician recruitment.
As one of the most tenured person in the industry, Lentz brings a unique perspective to the business of physician procurement. Bill first began at a national firm in 1990 and has been based in Dallas, the Mecca of the physician recruitment industry, since 1992. In that time, he has been personally responsible for over 1300 physician searches.
Having been in the industry for almost 20 years, Bill has personally met with the CEOs and physician recruiters in over 70% of the hospitals in Texas and Oklahoma. Working with rural hospitals to procure the physicians necessary to service their communities in particular is something near and dear to Bill's heart. Raised in Kansas and having attended college at the University of Texas Pan-American in the Rio Grande Valley, Bill developed a unique understanding of the challenges regional facilities can face.
"Small-town hospitals could care less about what's going on in Dallas or Houston, they have their own unique set of problems," Says Lentz. "I do understand their needs... I do understand their pain, and to deal with someone who understands that culture gives TCG an advantage." Over the years, Bill has seen the number of firms in the industry grow exponentially, but without much evolution. "Physician recruiting has not changed much since the early days" said Lentz, who is particularly critical on the subject of direct mail as a source for candidates. "Direct mail may be a source of significant cash flow to their bottom line, but without significant success. TCG has other means that work more effectively. "
Bill sees the huge growth potential of The Carlisle Group, and is pleased to utilize his 18 years of experience to make a bottom-line impact on the continuing growth of the company. ""A lot of these companies are very one-sided. They charge by the month, nickel and diming clients who spend a lot of money with no doctor to show for it. That's not the case with TCG" says Lentz. "I believe in the recruiting model of TCG; the fee structure is unique, fair, and comes with a shared risk. "
"Bill's experience will directly coordinate with the multiple dedicated corporate teams,"said TCG's Bobbie Aday. "That, in conjunction with The Carlisle Group's tech-savvy approach, will produce a powerful combination that will streamline the process of procurement."
