Budapest, Magyarorszag (PressExposure) October 23, 2012 -- The First Ever Hungarian Film and TV Awards To Be Hosted in Budapest in 2013

23 October 2012--Budapest, Hungary--Hakan Yildiz (actor and director) and a group of up and coming independent filmmakers are organising Hungary's first official film and TV awards in 2013. The even will feature awards for the best Hungarian films and television productions.

Like the Oscars, the HUFTA's will feature the following popular categories: Best Picture, Best Drama, Best Television Series, Best Director (Film), Best International Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best International Short, Best Comedy, Best Web Weries, Best Action, Best Documentary, Best Student Film, Best Music, Best Hungarian Film, and Special Awards. The awards will be voted on by celebrity guests, producers, and directors prior to the event.

The HUFTA's will be a red carpet event and the awards will be attended by several celebrities from around the world. Tickets will be made available through Eventbrite and range from general admission to all inclusive gold tickets. Attendees with a gold ticket will be transported from their hotel by limo to the awards, and they will be given the opportunity to walk on the red carpet. Gold ticket sponsors will receive free drinks prior to the gala and they will also be allowed free entry into the many after parties following the event. There will also be official HUFTA gifts available to VIP and gold ticket sponsors as well.

Anyone who is interested in showing their appreciation for the HUFTA's can purchase official HUFTA merchandise at the HUFTA store located on the HUFTA website. The HUFTA's have a variety of items to choose from including t-shirts and tote bags. The shirts come in a number of different sizes for children, men, and women with at least a dozen different designs from which to choose.

The HUFTA's will be taking place on 1 June 2013 at 6 PM at the opera house in Budapest, Hungary. Everyone is both welcomed and encouraged to share this historic event through any major social media network.
