Noosa Heads, Australia (PressExposure) April 08, 2009 -- Last weeks fashion show and workshop at The Jewellery Gallery for the Sunshine Coast Fashion Festival, in Noosa has been hailed a resounding success by all who attended. the tiny gallery was filled with happy shoppers who drooled over the gorgeous jewellery and fashion on display on the runway. Ooohs and Aahhs! were heard all around the room as each model came out on the runway devoid of jewellery, yet beautifully dressed in amazing fashion by Metamorphose, and the beautiful outfits were further transformed by the addition of a few pieces of select silver jewellery.
Both Julie Carrington and Lea Sanson partners in the popular jewellery shop brought both the outfit and the model to life, Julie pointing out what was obvious to all, "Look at this lovely woman, see how she stand taller and holds her head up high, confidence and self esteem are boosted when a woman knows she looks good. It doesn't matter what age she is, any woman can hold her head high with confidence in her own beauty when she feels well dressed and accessorised." This fact was further drawn out as audience participation was asked for a four selected ladies went back stage to dress in a new fashion outfit and was brought on stage to accessorise with bold jewellery pieces hand picked by themselves out of The Jewellery Gallery collection.
Next came the mirror test as Lea Sanson said on the day, "Most women avoid looking at themselves fully in the mirror, she might check that her outfit looks good, she might check that her hair is brushed or that her makeup is even. Rarely will a woman look at herself as a whole in the mirror and this shows a lack of confidence and self esteem. The mirror test is the test of how a women feels about herself." Each woman was asked to look at herself from top to bottom and say how that made them feel while on stage, and each woman was delighted to find herself loving what she saw in the mirror.
The attendees were next asked to move into groups according to which Fashion Archetype they resonated with the most as the five fashion archetypes and their personality profiles and fashion preferences were read out. Choosing from: the Goddess, the Diva, the Temptress, the Star, or the Sorceress many giggles and comments were heard as each attendee selected as group and began to share with her peers why she thought she was a particular archetype.
