Fort Lauderdale, Florida (PressExposure) February 17, 2011 -- Paul Zambardi, a beautician by profession, moved down to South Florida from Brooklyn, New York in the mid 80's. A single man in need of companionship, he went to the Broward County's dog rescue and immediately fell in love with a little rag tag terrier he named Dick. The name derived from the little rascal's favorite pastime...the chewing of Paul's television remote! Time after time, Paul managed to rescue the slowly corroding remote from the jaws of the wily hound; until the remote up and disappeared.
"I found a place online that sold very inexpensive remotes called Remote Hound, www.RemoteHound.com", Paul reported. "Lucky I did, because in less then a week after receiving my brand new replacement remote it mysteriously disappeared again!" After about a year and six new remotes, Dick fled from the Zambardi home.
But stranger yet, the TV remotes stopped their disappearing act after Dick ran away. With this as the result of Dicks flight from the house, the only task left was to find the missing remotes - which turned out to be stashed in a mud pit behind Paul's vegetable garden. That had confirmed that Dick was the culprit.
"There's a moral to the story, but I'm keeping that to myself!", said Paul.
