The Lost Bloodline

Atlanta, GA (PressExposure) August 06, 2009 -- WHAT IF ROMEO AND JULIET HAD CHILDREN?

A Family Seeks to Prove Their Identity as the Result of a Forbidden Love

Do you know who your grandfather is? Aunt? First Cousin? Most people can tell you the names of their 1st generation bloodline. One family has been clueless to their paternal heritage for more than 50 years. Until about eight years ago, a group of brothers and sisters from New Orleans spent most of their life oblivious to their paternal lineage, except occasional heresy. A coincidental occurrence sparked the family to embark upon a journey that has taken them on an emotional ride they had not anticipated.

It's a story of love, family bond, crossing color lines, sacrifice, sickness, and deceit as the Desvignes family struggles to validate their identity. After 8 years of research, continuous court battles, mysterious disappearances, missing records, and secret meetings, this family is taking their efforts to the next level by going public with their story. Their research has taken them to Royal connections in France. The family is assured their struggle and opposition has been the result of connections to a very prestigious family with a devout history and a net worth potentially in the Billions.

With no intentions of giving up, the Desvignes Family has just released their first documentary, "In Search of an Identity" which was aired on KPRC (Houston), WNOL and WGNO (New Orleans), and WUPA (Atlanta). The second documentary, " The Family Meeting" is currently in production. Their upcoming book, "The Lost Bloodline" is also scheduled to be released early fall. By going public with their story, the family hopes to gain support as they locate and confirm their rightful identity within the bloodline of the Desvignes Family and to also help others in search of their own identity.
