The Micah Experience Offers Catholic Youth Missions

Loveland, CO (PressExposure) October 02, 2009 -- In response to hundreds of Catholic parishes around the country requesting a uniquely Catholic mission trip, Group Workcamps created The Micah Experience. Now each summer youth and their leaders have experienced the life-change that comes from service on catholic youth missions trips organized by group workcamps.

The Catholic youth mission leaders that work with Micah are the best of the best—trained and passionate about helping teenagers grow in their faith. Most have worked with in Catholic youth ministry and with Group Workcamps for years. All leadership staff adult participants (ages 18+) are pre-screened with "Safe Environment" training and have had formal background checks that include a Multi-State Criminal Record Search and Social Security Number verification.

In addition to daily Liturgy, the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Adoration, Catholic youth mission experts from across the country have helped develop high-impact programs packed with music, Scripture, video, drama, and hands-on activities. Plus, participants in this new catholic youth mission will experience theme-related prayer that connects daily programs with trip experiences.

The locations of Micah’s Catholic youth missions for 2010 include: - Indianapolis, IN - Winston-Salem, NC
