Stratford-upon-avon, United Kingdom (PressExposure) September 01, 2009 -- CCL-Forensics has officially opened its brand new purpose-built lab complex - making it one of the most advanced companies of its kind in the UK, and reinforcing its status as an Investor In People.
The 10,000 sq ft premises in Warwickshire can house up to 100 staff as part of an expansion by the firm.
The brand new building was officially opened in front of invited dignitaries from police forces, legal firms and high-profile companies form a variety of sectors.
It provides an excellent working environment for staff, and has already increased the company's high level of staff morale. It has been ergonomically designed with employees in mind, and laid out to provide the most efficient use of space and resources.
The building includes a subsidised staff coffee lounge to further enhance the day-to-day lives of the company's staff - who include some of the country's most highly trained computer forensics and mobile phone forensics experts.
It has also helped CCL-Forensics to drastically improve its in-house training programme, as the building now houses a purpose built secure training room, where staff can undergo a wide variety of training - both "hands on" and theoretical.
The laboratories themselves have been designed to comply with CCL-Forensics' ongoing programme to achieve ISO17025 accreditation, as required by the new Home Office Forensics Regulator.
The opening ceremony allowed clients and prospective clients the chance to see CCL-Forensics' secure computer and mobile phone laboratories, and to get a fist-hand insight into the complex processes and procedures involved in digital forensics.
Many of the visitors from corporate organisations were concerned with investigating fraud, internal computer misuse and compliance issues. They were able to see how digital forensics can help in uncovering the electronic trail of evidence when such misuse has taken place.
CCL-Forensics Marketing Manager, Andy Holmes says "The opening ceremony was a great opportunity to demonstrate that CCL-Forensics truly is the market leader in the digital forensics industry.
We don't believe that any other independent digital forensics company has premises which even come close to ours - both in terms of facilities and security.
The building has been fitted out with the very latest security systems, and we always welcome our clients to come and see the level of security themselves".
In addition to the new premises, the company's previous home has now been converted into a business continuity facility - effectively giving the business a total area of approximately 14,000 square feet.
