Richmond, Virginia (PressExposure) May 06, 2013 -- The Village at Horsepen recently received the prestigious Paragon Award from the National Apartment Association. Given annually, Paragon Awards recognize the multifamily housing industry's top communities, executives, employees and affiliate programs in the United States. Henrico-based Gumenick Properties owns and operates The Village at Horsepen.
The NAA will present the award during a breakfast on June 22 at its 2013 NAA Education Conference and Exposition in San Diego.
"Gumenick Properties is extremely proud of all our Associates at The Village at Horsepen. Their hard work and dedication has made this neighborhood an outstanding place to live. Their exemplary performance has resulted in The Village at Horsepen becoming one of the best apartment communities in the country, a fact demonstrated by it receiving a 2013 Paragon Award from the National Apartment Association," said Skip Nash, Vice President - Property Management at Gumenick Properties.
Significantly, The Village at Horsepen is the third Gumenick Properties' community to receive a Paragon Award. The Estates at Horsepen received one in 2008, and The Hamptons at Hunton Village received another in 2009.
Earlier this year, The Village at Horsepen also received the Platinum A List Award from CEL & Associates, a national rating service. The Platinum A List Award is the highest service recognition given by CEL. The Platinum A List Award places The Village at Horsepen among the best apartment neighborhoods for customer service in the United States.
