Delhi, India (PressExposure) August 23, 2009 -- Thinkdigit.com, the online counterpart of the popular Digit magazine, has recently gone through a redesign process, as part of our continued effort to better reach out to our readership and to make using and navigating the website even easier.
One of the biggest changes is in the homepage, which is the hub of all interactions with the website. Accessing different information categories is much simplified, and different channels of content such as news, reviews, videos etc., are all much easier to access now, with all relevant links directly accessible from the header.
The front page is now well segregated into different modules which provide information from different channels. The new "Top Stories" module provides at-a-glance information about the latest news stories providing an easy starting point for people browsing the website. The "Latest Headlines" module keeps readers in track with the latest news in technology. Other modules include "Popular Stories" which lists recent stories which have gained community popularity; the "Videos"(http://www.thinkdigit.com/videos.php) section features interesting videos about gadgets and technology; the "Downloads" (http://www.thinkdigit.com/download.php)section which lists popular software readers would be interested in. Finally, our new revamped "In this Issue" section is now much more dynamic, and rotates information about the latest edition of our magazine.
A great emphasis has been placed on making it easier to access more information by addition of modules displaying related stories. Browsing by tags is also much simplified and finding content pertaining to specific topic of an article is as easy as clicking on its tag.
Sharing information is another very important aspect of the new website design, and each article in now accompanied below, with links which allows you to share articles via the social information sharing websites: StumbleUpon, Reddit, DIGG, Delicious, and Technorati. Emailing, printing and bookmarking stories is now also much simplified. Our websiteâs own social features have also been extended. Commenting on article is now much simpler, and comments and rating of articles are now more visible.
With this visual revamp we have made the website even richer with the addition of article thumbnails, and an image gallery for each article. The thumbnails make it easier to get a visual overview of articles content and topic, while the image gallery now makes it easier to browse related images for any image rich article.
Review articles are now much clarified, as a widget containing the review parameters now accompanies each article, making information such as price, specs, and contact details available at a glance.
