Burnsville, Minnesota (PressExposure) August 25, 2009 -- ThumbPeople, Inc. announced today that it is stepping up its efforts to be a voice for children. A committed voice that raises the awareness that every child needs to be loved unconditionally and also the voice that speaks that message of unconditional love out to children.
To kick off this campaign, ThumbPeople has released the "Kids Need" video. ThumbPeople founder, Mark Arens, says, "ThumbPeople is committed to being the voice for children who are existing in emotional poverty. Just like tomorrow may be too late to feed a child living with hunger, tomorrow may also be too late to meet the needs of a child living in emotional poverty. Our message has urgency and has the capacity to change the course for children who tomorrow may experiment with drugs, cut themselves, quit school and look for the love they are starving for in the wrong places."
ThumbPeople's intent in creating and releasing its "Kids Need" video is to create a movement of intentional parenting where parents are equipped with life-giving, empowering words for their children. Every parent, regardless of economic status, has the ability to give their child positive and affirming words.
Established with the premise that words have the power to build up or tear down, ThumbPeople has created the Thumbuddy children's book series, positive music for children, Thumbuddy Club preschool curriculum, and encouraging soaking music for adults. All ThumbPeople products affirm the intrinsic value and worth of every individual.
The thumbprint character, Thumbuddy, has been developed to convey the message that just like your thumb stands out from your fingers, you were meant to stand out and live an outstanding life. And, just like your thumb leaves a unique thumbprint, you leave your unique imprint in the world.
