Vinita Gupta is a legendary Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur. She has the distinction of being the first Indian-origin-woman to take her company Digital Link Corporation public in early 1994. She co-founded Digital Link Corporation, one of the worldâs leading providers of innovative wide area network (WAN) access solutions for broadband applications and served as the Chairman and CEO of the company since itsâ inception for almost 20 years. Under Mrs. Guptaâs leadership, Digital Link was also recognized in 1995 as one of Inc. 500âs âFastest Growing Companiesâ.
Mrs. Gupta spent her energies being investor and mentor to technology entrepreneurs. She also serves on the boards of non-profit organizations and is the Chair of âThe Community Board of Trustees of Palo Alto Medical Foundationâ in Silicon Valley. She also passionately supports womenâs causes, currently serving as the chair of Maitri, a local organization for helping women and children.
