Santa Clara, California (PressExposure) December 01, 2007 -- In late 2006 through mid-2007, Pemeco was brought on to oversee a complex implementation project to upgrade Timbre Technologies' (TTI) ERP software to facilitate management and control of their new Santa Clara manufacturing facility.
Pemeco consultants joined TTI managers and staff to lead the core implementation teams:
* Sales and Warehousing Logistics * Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Project Control * Finance, Costing, and Integration
The core team members were trained on system fundamentals and proceeded through process mapping and piloting during the project phases. In April of 2007, the manufacturing, planning, logistics, and finance suite of operations were up and running.
Erik Hansen, TTI's manufacturing manager, states, "As is the case in these endeavors, our team had to work long hours to develop new manufacturing and logistics business processes, to construct a new warehouse and assembly clean room, while performing their day-to-day jobs. All this, plus dedicating a significant portion of their extended day to the ERP project. Pemeco's management consultants guided these teams flawlessly and had to be top-notch managers, communicators, and technicians."
Russ Finney, Vice President of Information Systems at Tokyo Electron Holdings, adds, "We had to choose business-savvy, product knowledgeable consulting partners, ready to get into the trenches with the other team members. As in all our recent ERP projects the Pemeco team and their "Milestone Deliverable" philosophy was a key to our success."
