Evesham, United Kingdom (PressExposure) February 10, 2012 -- The specialist tool retailer has branched out into a number of different products in recent months and improving its offerings for the home security market is its latest endeavour.
Within the Security & Padlocks section of its website, is a range of home security products from door latches to security chains and from lock cylinders to surveillance cameras. It's specifically the padlocks section though which Toolbox is pushing.
The padlocks on offer include everything from weather-resistant locks and long shackle locks for those tricky security requirements to high security padlocks and the old faithful traditional brass padlock.
Lee Taylor, General Manager of Toolbox, said: "There's an obvious market for security equipment such as padlocks and we're hoping to attract new customers as well as existing customers who may require padlocks for their toolboxes or garden sheds. We have nearly every padlock requirement covered with the range we offer."
Included in the new padlocks Toolbox will be supplying are ranges from the brands Abus and Draper.
Well known within the home security industry, both manufacture high quality padlocks. Particular ranges from the brands include Abus' weatherproof padlocks and Draper's Value brass cylinder padlocks.
Great for the outdoors, the Abus weatherproof padlocks come in open and closed shackle models as well as hardened steel varieties. Abus' "NanoProtect" plating has undergone 1000 hours of salt bath testing (equivalent to 40 years in a harsh environment) proving its resistance to rust.
Draper's Value range provides quality security for general purpose use at an affordable price. Supplied with three keys and with a body and cylinder made from brass and a shackle made from steel, they're great for home security.
Lee Taylor continued: "We recognise the variety of uses for padlocks and the different requirements for them, that's why we've ensured we cover all bases. So whether someone is looking for a general purpose padlock to stick on the latch of their shed or a high security padlock to protect valuables, they can find it on our website."
And as an online retailer the website is of great importance to Toolbox. That's why meticulous care has been taken over the organisation of the new range of padlocks.
Tim Hodge, Website Administrator, said: "It was important to properly group each padlock into the appropriate category and then to organise them into an easy to navigate section of the website. We're fully confident we have done a great job with this and it shouldn't take more than a few clicks for a customer to find what they're looking for."
The addition of new products combined with the attention to detail shown in the organisation of its website is just one example of how Toolbox is constantly striving to improve the service it provides its customers.
