Top Flight Basketball Training in Maryland Now Offered in Annapolis and Bowie
Game Plan Sports Inc. (GPS), a sports training and events company, is run by Coach Ed Meyers and his son Coach Vaughn Meyers. Coach Ed Meyers coached collegiately at UDC, Georgetown, Boston U, ODU, GWU and Tennessee State University. He totaled over twenty (20) years on the collegiate level and knows what it takes to become a successful player. Coach Vaughn Meyers coaches High School basketball for two (2) years and is currently coaching a 14U AAU team in the Potomac Valley region. GPS is holding 6-week classes for aspiring youth and High School basketball players. These classes are held on Saturday and Sunday during the school year at the Truxton Park Recreation Center in Annapolis MD.
The GPS started US Hoop Academy, "Enhanced Progression Group Training", is for youth ages 9 to 18 years of age. This training consists of six (6) week sessions held once per week. We have three (3) modules. So, for every six (6) week session there is one (1) module. Module one (1) is Shooting and Ball-handling, module two (2) is Shooting and Defense and module (3) is Shooting and Passing. As you can see, we consider shooting so important that it is included in all of our modules.
GPS has been training basketball athletes now for more than a dozen years with many of our clients going to receive college scholarships and some going on the play professionally in the NBA and overseas.
GPS is truly committed to the development of its' clients skills and becoming the best basketball players they can be. We believe to get better you must do more. Our sessions are ongoing throughout the year so you never have to worry about joining in the middle of a session.
