Johannesburg, Gauteng South Africa (PressExposure) June 20, 2007 -- Guest Files was initiated out of an idea to make a positive impact in the hospitality and tourism industry to South Africa and Southern Africa as a manual newsletter sent to less than 200 tourism establishments in May 2006. It was originally named Heads in Beds.
To be fully representative of types and categories of persons reeiving the online newsletter, the name was changed to Guest Files. The fortnightly Guest Files newsletter is currently sent to over 15,000 tourism establishments in Southern Africa. To further encourage and invite visitors to both South Africa and Southern Africa, and encourage Southern African tourism, an edited version of the newsletter is distributed worldwide to tourism offices, South African bureaus, travel agents and other parties interested in visiting Southern Africa, including South Africa.
The Guest Files web site went live in February 2007, offering tourism establishments in Southern Africa an opportunity to list their establishment and market their Southern African tourism offering worldwide. Southern African tourism establishments are also offered an opportunity to have a dedicated web page hosted within Guest Files.
Guest Files is actively marketed worldwide. With tourism budding in Southern Africa, the world is invited to visit and enjoy the many attractive tourism offerings. Guest Files regularly communicates to the world about the many offerings contained within the web site. As the owners have travelled extensively, they aim to share their experiences of the many Southern African places and accommodations with the world. Guest Files is a tourism portal with loads of experience and honesty.
Although Guest Files is physically located in Johannesburg, Gauteng - the business is on the move. As an online business, it is sometimes operated from the Western Cape, Sun City, Ballito or other wonderful locations.
