Washington, DC (PressExposure) December 29, 2009 -- The Towing and Recovery Association of America, in conjunction with its ongoing effort to improve the image of towers and the towing industry to the general public, would like to acknowledge the recent efforts of Goldbeck Towing Service in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Craig Goldbeck and his father were on Highway 16 when they noticed what looked like money scattered on the roadway. They stopped and found it to be a large amount of cash so they called the Onalaska police.
The police department was aware the money was missing. They knew it was approximately $3,000.00 and they knew the local businessperson who had lost it from a moneybag inadvertently left on roof of a car. Craig Goldbeck says, "It was nice to be able to find it for somebody who had lost it. I'm sure it ruined their whole day when they didn't know where it was." The money was collected and returned to the business that reported the loss. The full story can be found at: http://www.wkbt.com/global/story.asp?s=11670744
