Nashville, TN (PressExposure) August 13, 2010 -- Nogas Electric in Nashville, TN, is opening the first electric vehicle charging station in Nashville on August 27th at 10 a.m. The charging station will be the first in Nashville utilizing Level 1 / Level 2 J-Plug technology, and is opening now to be ready for the fleet of electric Toyota, Ford and Chevy vehicles U.S. car makers plan to roll-out later this year.
James Arledge of Nogas America is a certified Toyota Prius Plug-in Conversion specialist and manufacturer of 100% electric motor scooters. Nogas Electic Scooters were recently on hand at the state's first electric vehicle charging station in Pulaski, TN. While not affiliated with the production of that facility, Nogas Electric scooters were the first electric vehicles charged at the new parking array station.
The public is invited to the event at Nogas Electric's headquarters at 2612 Winford Avenue in Nashville near the I-440/Nolensville Road interchange. Specialists will be on hand to answer questions and provide demonstrations. Members of Nashville's City Council are slated to be in attendance.
