TreadmillVR Adds Stationary Bike Integration

Boca Raton, Florida (PressExposure) June 18, 2011 -- TreadmillVR now brings the sensation of virtual reality to the stationary bike user. By shooting video mounted to the front of a bike while traveling outdoors, TreadmillVR Max enables indoor exercisers to share in the experience, from the safety and comfort of their indoor gym.

TreadmillVR Max, enables its user to select an outdoor scene where they want to exercise. They can also adjust the speed they want to travel, add a partner to share the scene with, and listen to their favorite music from their iTunes playlist. These components work together to create the sensation that they have left their indoor environment and entered the outside world.

The TreadmillVR Max scene library continues to grow providing users access to additional free scenes. Scenes include, traveling along the beaches, through sunny parks, crossing high narrow bridges, running along the rails of roller coasters, through shopping centers, into mountains, flying through clouds, moving across water, snowboarding, and lots more. Each video is produced from a first person point of view, which creates the sensation that the viewer is actually in the scene.

The TreadmillVR Max was created to enhance the user experience for people exercising indoors by providing an outdoor experience.

The scene library includes remote outdoor scenes, as well as additional running mates. Unlike a computer generated scene, these videos are shot in high definition and care is taken to make them as naturally appearing as possible.

One of the phenomenon's we encountered wile producing this app, was how believable they become when you are exercising to them. The experience of feeling like you are actually in the scene becomes more evident the longer you use it.
