Encapsulated with high temperature resistant plastic,this passive RFID tag,model 116402, performs well even when subjected to several chemical baths, painting and cleansing processes,high temperature and physical stress. It provides a read range of about 3 meters. When used in an auto manufacturing process, this advanced RFID tag is typically attached to the chassis of a car at the beginning of the manufacturing process and continues to function through the entire car production sequence.
