Ultralingua Announces New Version of Online Dictionary!

Minneapolis, MN (PressExposure) January 23, 2009 -- Ultralingua announced today the release of its new online dictionary service.

Long a leader in downloadable dictionaries, Ultralingua has launched a new version of its popular online dictionary service. This service, located at http://www.ultralingua.com/onlinedictionary/, provides online access to fourteen different dictionaries, including such popular titles as English definitions, English synonyms, French-English, Spanish-English, German-English, and more. These dictionary databases, developed by Ultralingua, put over a million definitions and translations at the fingertips of visitors.

The latest release of the Online Dictionary offers users enriched dictionaries, a much-improved interface, and a more meaningful layout and display of entries.

Additional features include an extensive verb conjugator for six different languages, a number-to-text converter, and a special “WebLex” tool that allows users to enrich any web page with pop-up translations and definitions. A special “References” section of the site provides extensive grammar manuals for English (especially ESL), French, German, and Spanish.

A special “widgets” page includes code snippets that allow developers to embed a look-up “widget” within other websites.

The Ultralingua Online Dictionary is free for light use, but for more intensive access users subscribe to the service for $29.95 per year. Institutional subscriptions are also available, making it easy for schools, universities, and businesses to bring quality language tools to students and workers.

The Online Dictionary Service by Ultralingua is found under the “Online” heading of the Ultralingua website (www.ultralingua.com). Subscriptions begin at $29.95.
