Dylan Leatherdale to play in the finals of Rock95 Local and Loud 2012.
On Sunday, May 6, 2012, Dylan Leatherdale will be one of ten musical artists to compete in the Rock95 Local and Loud 2012 final competition at the Mansion Nightclub in Barrie, Ontario. He will be competing for a grand prize offered by the Wellcraft Music Group recording company.
On Sunday, April 15th, Dylan was a stand-out in the preliminary competition, which allowed him to move onto the finals. He played a strong 15-minute set that garnered the largest crowd reaction of the night, and most certainly caught the attention of the three judges.

Dylan has been learning and performing music since he was a young boy. He has played several live shows over the past few years, whether it was as a solo artist or as a part of a group. He currently has eight songs with recorded with more to come. Those songs include Counting Stars, Lost Dogs, Never Ending War, Rotten Apple, Deep Water, Tangled Up, Where You Belong, and New Ground.
The genre of music that he plays is alternative rock with a little bit of folk flavour to it. Some bands that have inspired him while he was developing his own craft are Oasis, Led Zepplin, Foo Fighters, and Queens of the Stone Age.
This will be an all ages event and cover will be $3. The Mansion Nightclub is located on 34 Dunlop St. East.
