jalada GmbH announces today the release of jalada Skip Over 1.5.0 for Mac, a hexagonal tile-based puzzle adventure for the whole family, where you must strategically plan maneuvers to reach the end of a level.
jalada Skip Over for Mac is a hexagonal tile-based puzzle game, where the player slips into the character of Emi (a young girl) and helps her to find her way home. On her way she has to break all green tiles and step on a safe tile at the end. She mainly does this by jumping on the tiles. They will crack when she land on them, and only disintegrate when she jump off.
Beginning with just green tiles more types of tiles are introduced on Emi's way, such as walls, trampolines, spinners, laser guns, ice tiles or tile builders. The way is divide in more than 50 levels, where solving a higher level becomes more difficult and challenging. After solving a level you can choose from a map, which level you would like to attempt next. Silver colored levels are ones you have achieved already and black colored levels have not completed, but are available to play.
The game play is very easy to understand. The player control a space fighter moving on the 3d screen, scrolling left and right in order to avoid oncoming bombs and kamikaze attacks from alien invaders--and to fire missiles to fight back! Wave after wave have to be destroyed to win the battle and get a new high score.
The mixture of easy control, quick to learn, help on demand plus 100 challenging levels makes jalada Skip Over a nearly never ending game experience for the whole family.
jalada Skip Over runs on every modern Mac with OpenGL graphic card and need at least Mac OS X 10.4.
